WHO WE ARE
Sentriq Operations Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through sentriq.co.uk. The company is registered in England and Wales. For privacy enquiries, contact andrew@sentriq.co.uk.
WHAT WE COLLECT
This website collects two kinds of data:
1. Email correspondence. When you email andrew@sentriq.co.uk, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any information you choose to share.
2. Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (Wix) records standard technical information about visits to the site — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time of visit. These logs are used to operate and secure the website.
This website does NOT collect:
- Marketing tracking cookies
- Analytics data (no Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no equivalents)
- Form submissions (the site has no forms)
- Account registration data (the site has no user accounts)
- Payment information (the site processes no payments)
WHY WE COLLECT
We collect data only for these purposes:
- Responding to your enquiries — when you email us, we use your email to reply
- Operating the website — server logs let our hosting provider deliver the site reliably and protect it from abuse
- Meeting legal obligations — we may retain records where required by law
The legal basis for processing email correspondence is legitimate interest — we cannot reply to your enquiry without using your email address. The legal basis for server logs is legitimate interest in operating a functional, secure website.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Email correspondence: retained for as long as the conversation may be relevant, typically up to seven years. Conversations that lead to no business relationship are deleted within twelve months.
Server logs: retained by Wix according to its standard data retention policy.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share data only with:
- Wix Inc. — our website hosting provider. Wix processes server logs to deliver the website. Wix's privacy practices are governed by its own privacy policy.
- Law enforcement or regulators — only when legally required.
We never share personal data for marketing purposes.
WHERE THE DATA IS STORED
Email correspondence is held in mailboxes hosted within the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. Server logs are held by Wix, which operates servers in multiple jurisdictions. Where data leaves the UK, it is transferred under safeguards that meet UK GDPR requirements.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of personal data
- Restrict how we use your personal data
- Object to our processing of your personal data
